About Us
Our Story
Scholar Search was founded with one simple belief: that everyone deserves the chance to go to university, regardless of their background, disability, or circumstances.
Too often, people with physical disabilities, neurodivergent conditions, mental health needs, or those who left education without qualifications find the path to higher education overwhelming. The applications, the funding, the logistics — it can feel like an impossible maze.
That’s where we come in. Scholar Search takes care of everything: from finding the right course and submitting your application, to securing funding through the Disabled Students’ Allowance, arranging specialist equipment, and organising travel support. We walk alongside you every step of the way.
With over 80 accredited courses across 8 UK locations, and day, evening, and weekend study options, we’re here to make university work around your life — not the other way around.

Mazdul Islam
I have always felt a strong calling to teach and support the younger generation, not only in their early years but throughout their lives and into adulthood.
I am especially passionate about working with individuals from challenging or disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them see what is possible beyond their current circumstances. I believe that education, meaningful employment, entrepreneurship, and pursuing personal dreams are achievable for everyone.
Too often, young people and vulnerable adults face risk, exploitation, or a lack of guidance. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where anyone — regardless of their background — can access the right help through trusted, government-backed schemes and know they are in safe hands.
Above all, I want to make a genuine difference and remind people that support is always available. Our door is always open, and we will walk alongside you every step of your journey.
